想象一下新金属乐队Rage Against The Machine与爵士巨人John Coltrane同台， 或者放克/灵乐爵士大师Maceo Parker与摇滚乐队Radiohead即兴，又或者融合爵士传奇鼓手Billy Cobham和最棒的新奥尔良铜管乐队合作……自由奔放的爵士与令人恍惚入迷的电子，再加上厚重的摇滚，这就是OZMA。成立已17年之久的OZMA，是当今欧洲最令人兴奋的爵士乐队之一。由鼓手Stéphane Scharlé与贝斯手Edouard Séro-Guillaume领衔，这支五重奏从当代音乐中汲取丰富而多元的灵感，创作出既冒险味十足，又能迅速抓住听众耳朵的音乐。
自2006年斩获巴黎国际爵士比赛“团体一等奖”以来，OZMA已发行了6张专辑，在北美、非洲、印度和欧洲进行了超过300场演出，拥有包括一个大型爵士乐团、6场电影现场配乐音乐会、2场摄影音乐会和一个视觉艺术创作在内的各种各样的项目，在不同国家的国家与当地艺术家有过合作（2008年在布基纳法索、2012年在印度古吉拉特邦、2014年在南非）。2016年，OZMA发行了专辑《Welcome Home》，广获好评。他们把众多音乐风格的精华凝聚成独一无二的当代爵士，创作出了独一无二“OZMA之声”！法国著名文化杂志《Les Inrockuptibles（摇滚怪客）》在2017年2月把《Welcome Home》评为“2017年之前必听的十大爵士专辑之一”，而另一法国知名音乐月刊《Jazz-News》则在2016年11月把它列为“2016年最棒的爵士专辑之一”。

Imagine John Coltrane invited as a guest by Rage Against The Machine, Maceo Parker jamming with Radiohead, or Billy Cobham sitting-in with the best New Orleans brass bands… One foot in the liberty of jazz, the other in electro’s trance, both hands covered in greasy rock. Founded in 2001, OZMA is an energetic quintet driven by Stéphane Scharlé on drums and Edouard Séro-Guillaume on the bass, and is one of Europe’s most exciting jazz groups with rich and varied influences orbiting in a modern universe that is both adventurous and accessible.
Since their First Group Price at the International Jazz Competition in Paris in 2006, OZMA has released 6 albums that have been nourished by numerous tours (more than 300 concerts in North America, Africa, India and Europe), varied creations (a big band, 6 live film projection concerts, 2 photo-concerts, a visual art creation) and meeting with foreign artists (Burkina Faso in 2008, In Gujarat, India in 2012 and in South Africa in 2014). In 2016, the quintet released “Welcome Home” critically acclaimed for its contemporary jazz, nourished by many musical styles, a condensation of all that music can offer, the “Ozmical” sound! The album was remarked as “one of the ten jazz albums to listen to before 2017″by Les Inrockuptibles (Feb. 2017) and “among the best jazz albums of 2016” by Jazz-News (Nov. 2016).
